ABOUT RKPC
The Rod Kelley Parent Club is a diverse group of parents who have come together to form a volunteer-led, non-profit organization with a mission to enhance the education, welfare and activities of Rod Kelley students through a partnership of students, parents and educators.
The Parent Club provides VOLUNTEERS for various school events including:
- Annual Rod’s Trod
- Book Fairs
- Movie Nights
- Room Coordinators
- Fieldtrip Chaperones
- School Library
- Computer Lab
- Annual hearing and vision screenings
- Yard Duty and crossing guards
The Parent Club Volunteers logistical coordination for various activities throughout the year including:
- Annual Rod’s Trod
- Book Fair
- Teacher Appreciation Week
- High Five Store & Student Store
The Parent Club raises MONEY for:
- Books
- Fieldtrips
- Classroom supplies/materials for Teachers
- Computers
- Technology Upgrades
- Healthy Snacks for Classroom Parties
- Assemblies and Author Visits
- Facility Upgrades
MEETINGS
General meetings are held the third Wednesday of the month starting at 7 pm in the Multi-Purpose Room. All parents are welcome and Spanish translation is available.
