Student success depends upon so many conditions. But it often starts with good nutrition. Well-nourished students perform better in the classroom. That’s why the school lunchroom promotes healthy food and lifestyle choices. Every day, the lunch menu includes three kinds of fresh fruit, a fresh vegetable and a canned fruit. Students may take as much as they like from the Garden. Non-fat chocolate and 1% low fat milk are also offered daily.
Students can either bring their lunch or purchase a lunch for $2 or a reduced price of $.40 for qualified students. Milk is $.35 Lunches are prepaid in increments of 5. For more information contact Mary Arechiga in food service.
